Stone+tec Nuremberg 2026: European Natural Stone and New Technologies in Focus

The international trade fair for natural stone and stone technology, Stone+tec Nuremberg, will place natural stone at the center of attention from June 17 to 20. The exhibition covers the segments “Building with Natural Stone,” “Equipment for Professionals,” and “Place of Remembrance.” For material suppliers as well as machinery manufacturers, direct exchange with existing and new customers is a key reason for their presence in Nuremberg.

Nuremberg – The trend toward regional natural stone in construction, high-end interior applications, and memorial production remains strong. The share of materials sourced from Europe or the broader European region is also growing significantly. This development is driven not only by fundamental changes in global supply chains, but also by increasingly tight delivery schedules. In addition to short-term availability and straightforward reordering, a low CO₂ footprint has become an important criterion in the decision-making process for clients and planners.

One supplier of such materials is Steinwerk Tringenstein GmbH, which, as in previous editions, will once again be represented at Stone+tec in Nuremberg in 2026. Managing Director Jörg Knell has deliberately decided to participate in Stone+tec 2026: “Especially in economically challenging times, we consider it important to maintain a presence, take responsibility, and reliably support our customers – the stonemasonry businesses.” The trend toward regional and European materials has been reflected in the company’s portfolio for many years. Its standard products include, in particular, Scandinavian natural stones such as Bararp, Vanga, Labrador, and Finnish Aurora. While securing solid business deals is one objective of participating in the trade fair, the company from Siegbach-Tringenstein also places great emphasis on maintaining existing relationships and establishing new customer contacts. For Jörg Knell, the focus is on presenting the company as a slab producer for memorials with a broad product range: “As a reliable supplier for stonemasonry businesses, we demonstrate the diversity of our materials, formats, and finishes for individual memorial solutions.”

The effectiveness of direct customer engagement at Stone+tec 2026 is also highlighted by Sales Manager Corrado Carrara from the Italian machinery manufacturer Prussiani, based in Albano Sant’Alessandro near Bergamo. The company is already active in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, where it has established a solid market presence with numerous reference customers. The Sales Manager is confident that brand awareness in this region can be further strengthened: “The trade fair is an important opportunity for us to showcase the quality of our products. We are convinced that the German-speaking market, which has always placed great importance on reliability and punctual service, will appreciate this quality.”

At its exhibition stand, the company will present its expertise in tailor-made, automated solutions designed specifically to meet individual customer requirements, both for serial production and the manufacture of one-off pieces. Prussiani is known, among other things, for its five-axis CNC machine Cut & Jet, which combines the speed of saw cutting with the versatility of waterjet technology and the polishing of cut-outs in a single solution.
