Stone+tec and Tile+tec 2026: Stone+tec Nuremberg impresses with a strong mix of exhibitors

The international trade fair for natural stone and stone technology, Stone+tec Nuremberg, will place natural stone at the centre of attention from June 17th to 20th, at Messe Nürnberg. The exhibition segments cover “Building with Natural Stone,” “Equipment for Professionals,” and “Place of Remembrance.” In addition, Tile+tec offers a dedicated exhibition area for “Design with Tiles.” At Stone+tec 2026, regional natural stones and their resource-efficient processing will form a key focus among renowned exhibitors.

Nuremberg – The presence of internationally well-known natural stone producers underscores the high standing of Stone+tec as a meeting point and communication platform far beyond the German-speaking region. Emphasizing the value of personal exchange with the professional audience, Mirko Adam, Managing Director of JUST Naturstein GmbH from Hartha, states: “We have decided to participate in Stone+tec 2026 for the first time since 2018, because after two breaks from trade fairs and the establishment of the fair in a new, smaller format, we want to reassess our successes. It remains one of the most important platforms in the German-speaking region for presenting our innovative strength, material expertise, and our expanded corporate network.

Innovative strength and material expertise

At the heart of the exhibition concept, according to Mirko Adam, is the steadily increasing importance of regional and sustainable materials: “We expect strong visibility for our brands and products, qualified technical discussions, and the expansion of strategic partnerships.” A particular goal is to present sustainable material choices and high-quality design solutions and to explore them in greater depth through dialogue.

While JUST Naturstein GmbH presents the broad range of natural stones and manufacturing capabilities at its Hartha site, DESTAG showcases product solutions and applications for the cemetery and memorial sector.

Rochlitzer Porphyr is highlighted as an independent brand with its characteristic material focus: “This trio creates an overall picture that presents our competencies in the best possible way,” explains Mirko Adam, who is also Managing Director of Rochlitzer Porphyr GmbH. Marketing strategist Steffen Asche sees good market opportunities for the red natural stone. Also known as “Saxon marble,” this stone is a regional, historically significant, and at the same time modern material with a distinctive colour and texture: “Especially at a time of growing demand for sustainable and locally sourced natural stones, we hope it will continue to gain importance. Its potential is enormous, as it is unique in its warm red hue and striking structure, and extremely robust and durable.” Regional, resource- and climate-efficient extraction are key arguments for Steffen Asche in favour of this natural stone, which – alongside heritage conservation and restoration, garden and landscape design, and the cemetery sector – has recently also found versatile applications in interior design.

New developments and current reference projects

As at previous editions of the fair, Bamberger Natursteinwerk Hermann Graser GmbH will once again be a guarantor of innovative products, promises Managing Director Hermann Graser. As an exhibitor at Stone+tec 2026, the company aims to clearly highlight the performance of its natural stones and its technical expertise: “The focus of our presentation will be current reference projects, new developments in solid and hybrid structural engineering, and our patent-pending timber-stone composite floor system.” For Hermann Graser, who is also President of the German Natural Stone Association (DNV), the fair offers an excellent platform to deepen dialogue with architects, specialist planners, and industry partners: “We see long-term stable to rising demand for natural stone, driven by its excellent environmental footprint, durability, and recyclability.” From the perspective of the DNV President, architects are particularly interested in constructive possibilities, design freedom, and robust sustainability metrics.
